I have been a licensed, full time Massage Therapist in the Berkshires since 1989 and have studied and practiced Ortho-Bionomy® since 2000. I have also been trained in Russian sports and medical massage from the Kurashova Inst, Neuromuscular Therapy with Judith Walker Delaney, and also have a B.S, in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts.
My athletic background includes cycling, mountain biking, running, winter mountaineering, hockey, unicycle hockey, mountain unicycling and yoga. I have also dabbled in tennis, golf, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, volleyball, Frisbee and motorcycle road racing.
A lot of experience and, yes, a fair amount of injuries, has given me a very good understanding of how the body works, recovers and forms compromises to deal with the pain and dysfunction of injury.
I maintain a duplex, eat mostly local organic food, have Indian food dinner parties and make some very good gluten free chocolate chip cookies!
If you have injuries or sports-related aches and pains, please contact me today to talk about how I can help you.
I am happy to provide any credentials and certifications upon request.
